BS (Bachelor in Business Administration)

The Business Administration program uses analytical and behavioral methods to solve business problems, increase global awareness, understand the planning process, teach critical thinking, and assist the learner in identifying individual goals.

The Business Administration program is especially well suited for working adult students returning to school who are able to combine coursework with the business skills they practice on a daily basis. Students have the opportunity to select fifteen (15) semester hours of course electives from any of the School of Business offerings to specialize in an area of business that meets their needs. Students may pursue this degree at the Livonia campus or in the online format. Employers like the flexibility of courses and the variety of learning formats the program offers.

MBA (MBA Business Administration)

The mission of the Master of Business Administration program is to instruct students in the function areas of business. Considered a flagship generalist degree in business, the program is meant for students who desire a broad understanding of business and how it relates to the social, political, and economic forces confronting it. Students with a non-business bachelor's degree benefit greatly from an MBA by gaining practical knowledge of theories learned in their undergraduate studies.

A Master of Business Administration is highly desirable in today's profit, nonprofit, and government workforce. More than half of students studying for an MBA have no undergraduate courses in business. However, there are prerequisite business courses required for this type of student. Madonna University's MBA requires 31 core semester hours and a Certificate of Completion requiring 9-16 semester hours of credit. Students walk away with a generalist knowledge of business and a specialty in their chosen academic area.
